The Beaumont Enterprise, Notice by Publication of an Application by Centana Intrastate Pipeline, LLC, for Amendment to an Existing Underground Storage Facility Permit Centana Intrastate Pipeline, LLC, 5718 Westheimer Road, Suite 2000, Houston, TX 77057 is applying to the Railroad Commission of Texas for an amendment to an existing hydrocarbon storage facility permit. The applicant is currently storing natural gas in the Spindletop Salt Dome, Spindletop Field, Centana Intrastate Pipeline, LLC, lease, well numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4. The facility is located 4 miles in a south direction from Beaumont, Texas in the Spindletop Field in Jefferson County, Texas. The applicant is currently permitted to operate well numbers 1, 1A (observation well only), 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9 for liquid hydrocarbon or natural gas storage. The caverns for well numbers 6 and 9 have not been constructed. Caverns for well numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 are located in the subsurface depth interval from 4,145 feet to 5,360 feet. The applicant is applying to renumber well number 9 to well number 5 and relocate the well on the lease. The applicant is applying to amend the storage authority of well number 6 to liquid hydrocarbon storage only at a maximum capacity of 5 million barrels in the subsurface interval from 3,000 feet to 4,300 feet and relocate the well on the lease. The applicant is applying to add well numbers 7, 8, 9 & 10 for the storage of liquid hydrocarbons at a maximum capacity of 5 million barrels for each well in the subsurface depth interval from 2,300 feet to 3,600 feet. LEGAL AUTHORITY: Title 3 and 11 of the Natural Resources Code; Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6053-3; and the Statewide Rules of the Oil and Gas Division of the Railroad Commission of Texas.
